Our story began on April 7th, 2023, with a simple Hinge notification, Kerri received a “like” from a Ryan Shinn. What started as a slow conversation about our Hogwarts houses quickly led to our first date at Anchor’s Tavern in Belmar. We spent hours talking about life, and before the night was over, Ryan had already locked in date number two - this time, dinner.

From that night on, everything just clicked. Despite being surrounded by people, it always felt like we were the only ones in the room. Our dates continued, and Ryan made sure there was always another one planned. That sense of security was exactly what Kerri was looking for.

Six months later we moved in together. Eight months after that, we welcomed our handsome puppy, Duke, into our lives. Our relationship has grown by taking things one step at a time, building something safe, steady, and full of love. We fell in love watching our favorite movies, eating delicious foods (sometimes pizza rolls), and introducing each other to the people who matter most.
